LBBO Life Members
The recognition
of a Life Membership is an extremely prestigious award only given to past
members of the LBBO and is awarded at the AGM. The general membership can
submit names for consideration and a committee investigates the nominations.
To be considered for Life Membership an individual will meet some of the
guidelines set up by the LBBO. To be eligible a member must be
retired from active officiating for at least three years. The individual
must have been a member in good standing with the LBBO and worked games for a
significant number of years. The individual also may have worked at a
superior level of basketball and was always striving to improve. They may
have also been in a leadership role either locally, provincially or nationally.
The Executive may chose as many members each year as they see fit based on
these and other guidelines.
